This department was established with the responsibility of implementing, maintaining and upgrading Information Technology in Bugando Medical Centre. It started with 1 server using thin Ethernet network cabling system. The BMC Information System, Will be used for: Patient Registration Patient Billing Cashbook Debtors Creditors Doctors Stores Pharmacy General Ledger E-mail/Internet access The hospital has a fully functional e-mail/internet system with a domain name of www.bugandomedicalcentre.go.tz . This new facility has a fully functional workstation complete with 24-hour e-mail/internet access. We believe that Doctors and other members of staff will gain from the latest information that the Internet has to offer to enable them give the best services to our patients.
